Orchestra Camp

Join us for our 29th Year!

General Information

Encore Orchestra Camp provides an enjoyable musical experience for students from beginner level through 9th grade (students may attend between 9th and 10th grade). Students receive a good blend of educational and recreational activities during the week. Rehearsals and master classes are conducted by some of the best orchestra directors in the state of Georgia with years of success in working with string students at this level. In addition to rehearsals and master classes, afternoon and evening recreational times are scheduled. The camp closes with concert performances in the evening of the final day of camp.

Recreational activities include swimming, movie night, ice cream and pizza parties, billiards, beach volleyball, staff and student recitals, time at the Jazzman's Cafe and Coffee Shop, gaming at the Student Activities Center, and a dance on the last night of camp!

Encore Orchestra Camp is held in conjunction with Encore Choir Camp. Students stay in the same dorms and enjoy all meals and social events together. Do you have a friend in Chorus? Bring them to camp with you!

Parents will receive information via e-mail including a list of what to pack, camp guidelines, a medical release form, and a schedule about one month before camp.

Do you have further questions about our camp? Visit our FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS page. E-mail us or call the camp office to speak with one of the directors at 404-988-1245.
